    Let Trust Be The Foundation

I’ve always been fascinated with couples who have been together for over 30 years. My parents will be celebrating their 40th this year and it’s been one heck of a roller coaster for them.  Most of the couples I’ve asked say a long-term marriage is reflected upon the communication between the two parties.  But I have to disagree.  Creating Your Foundation Some people will only tell you what they want you to hear, and in some cases, they might even hear what they would like you to say.  If your relationship is built on trust, you know that whatever comes out from your significant other’s lips is the truth. Finding Your Passion: It’s Easier Said Than Done

Have you ever sat down and looked at a blank piece of paper?  Sometimes that blank piece of paper is staring back at you, tempting you to write down your thoughts, but all you can do is think.  You slowly begin to imagine all your ideas floating around in your head, and then it hits you.  Why not combine everything you love into one huge opportunity!  And then you realize that’s what you’ve been trying to do the whole time.  Why I Started My Blog This blog/website has been my creative outlet. My Toddler Eats ‘Fast Food’ Every Morning

Go ahead, judge me.  I choose to give my son fast food every morning out of convenience. I’d give it to Jeff if I could, but he prefers eggs in the morning.  Wait, you thought I meant fast food as in what you buy from a drive-thru?  No.  Fast food as in, food that is easily prepared.  My son eats fruits, yogurt and pancakes. And it’s not always at the same time.  His snacks for school are somewhat varied. Unless I had a long night. In that case, he just gets whatever fruits I can grab first.  Go ahead, judge me.  I do have mornings when I strategically plan his breakfast…

Why I Rarely Visit Family And Friends

I’ve been asked several times to go out of my way and visit people.  When we first moved to South Florida, it was tough to get out of the house with an infant.  And now with a toddler and an infant, it’s a lot harder.  People always suggest getting together. And I don’t mind, but I like to do it when Jeff is available to come with me.  An Extra Set Of Hands I like to rely on myself for as much as I can, but sometimes I really need an extra set of arms to help with the boys.  Jeff is my best friend. I love being around him…

    Changes Aren’t Always Welcomed

Going through several changes all at once can drive you mad.  And sometimes the madness can lead you to question things in your life, like the love you have for yourself.  Or worse, the love of those around you.  Overcoming Negative Thoughts I’ve written a few posts on the changes I felt when we first moved to South Florida, and all the changes we went through as a family. But I never mentioned something I held dear to me until recently.  After becoming a SAHM, I felt as though I relied heavily on Jeff. I never saw this new life as something that could benefit us both.  For me, being…
