Family Time At Denny’s

This post is sponsored by Denny’s. Although I received compensation for sharing my experience, all thoughts are my own.

The holiday season is a busy one. No matter where you turn, there’s something to remind you to decorate, plan and prep meals. There’s a sale going on at just about every store. It’s almost impossible to focus on what really matters.

That’s why it’s important to not only pencil in a little time for yourself, but also to dedicate time to others. Isn’t that what the holidays are really about?

‘Tis The Season
When I think of the winter season, I’m reminded of baking and hot cocoa. Since the temperatures are less likely to drop, we can skip the hot beverage, and go for something that will bring back memories from your childhood. That’s what we did when we arrived at Denny’s to check out their seasonal flavors.

From now until January 8th, Denny’s has a limited-time menu featuring four new festive ways to enjoy their all-new Buttermilk pancakes:

1. Salted Caramel and Banana Cream Pancake (highly recommended by our waiter and us!);
2. Pumpkin Cream Pancake;
3. Sticky Bun Pancake; and
4. Rudolph Pancake.

There are a number of festive desserts to try this season as well — Red Velvet Pancake Puppies, Holiday Cookie Milk Shake (our favorite!) and Pumpkin and Pecan pies.

Come One, Come All!
Denny’s has been around for more than 60 years, serving guests whatever they want, whenever they crave it — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The company operates over 1,700 restaurants across the U.S., Canada and several countries abroad. Their restaurants offer a comfortable place where friends, family and complete strangers can have a fun conversation — all day, every day.

Maybe it has something to do with the deals they offer on their delicious meals. Denny’s has an exclusive menu for visitors who are 55+, with affordable and nutritious options. Plus, AARP members receive special daily savings for themselves and their guests.

There’s also the $2, $4, $6, $8 Value Menu, which is available all day, every day and allows guests to choose from 16 dishes at affordable prices, including traditional favorites as well as several new a la carte items.

If you’re counting carbs or just trying to stay below a certain weight this holiday, don’t worry, Denny’s has something for you, too! The Denny’s Fit Fare features healthy choices which are lower in fat and calories, and higher in protein and fiber. Using the expansive Build Your Own Grand Slam option, diners have more than 250 ways to build a meal with 550 calories or less, and plenty of simple substitutions and delicious “Fit Fare” entrees found throughout the menu.

So forget about waking up and cleaning yesterday’s mess. Grab the kids and make your way to Denny’s. You’ll be glad you did!

  2. Denny’s is one of our favorite restaurants as a family. I love that everyone can find something they love and it doesn’t cost a lot.

  3. I have not been to a Denny’s since college, but you seriously made all of the food look so great. There’s one a few blocks from me, I think I may have to walk down there for breakfast tomorrow!
