If you look for the positives in life you will find them, even if it is hiding in the corner. Mondays are not the best days for everyone, but if you think of them as the start of another productive week, then everything will eventually fall into place.
For me, Sundays are my planning days, and I like to stick to that schedule. If I do not, then I dread Mondays. This does not mean that I leave everything for Sundays. I actually write ideas and reminder notes on my phone and revisit these thoughts on a later date. Typically, if I still feel strongly about my ideas, then I go work on bringing them to life.
Below are five tips to help you feel inspired today, and always:
Eat a balanced breakfast. Remember, what you take in is what you put out. If you eat right, you will feel energized and ready to take on the day. Catch up on the latest news. Find out what is going on in your industry and/or research how-to guides on a specific topic you have been thinking of looking into but have not had the chance. to do so.
Dress well. If you look good, you feel good. And I do not know anyone that does not feel good in a nice outfit. You do not need to go out and buy one, just go shopping in your closet. 😉
Do something selfless. Whether you are having a bad day or a good one, take time out from your day to make someone else smile. Ask someone if they need a favor or buy someone lunch. The choice is yours.
