I often find myself wanting an extra five minutes after having hit the snooze button 10 minutes prior. It’s not always easy, but there are a few things you may want to keep in mind when procrastination kicks in. Below are a few thoughts that go through my mind when I hit the snooze button:
Nothing will get done. I’ll spend most of the morning in bed and probably kick myself in the afternoon when my pup needs a walk and I haven’t even done the first load of last week’s laundry.
You need to feed your family. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and if you’re still in bed, you’ll miss it! Plus, Jeff loves when you bring him coffee in bed. It’s a simple reminder of how much you appreciate him.
The sooner, the better. Tasks can be daunting, no matter how big or small. It’s important to tackle the biggest one as soon as possible. This way, when you look back you’ll feel invincible — at least I do. 🙂
It could be worse. As a stay-at-home mom, I choose my schedule and that’s a great reward. Not many people can say that.
