Overcoming Writer's BlockThere will be moments you feel stuck, uninspired and maybe even a little lazy to write. I have experienced moments when I just do not feel inspired to write about anything, and there are moments I have a million ideas floating in my head and I cannot seem to focus on one.

Feeling uninspired is normal. Sometimes you have too much going on and you just cannot concentrate. Maybe you just do not feel like writing — and that is okay. Or, all those thoughts do not seem to make sense just yet.

So, for these moments, I turn to these four things:

1. My Notes app:
All those crazy ideas I keep thinking about, I just type them out on my phone and save them for future posts. There have been moments I am inspired at the moment and would rather type out the entire post on my phone, email it to myself, then edit and post.

2. Personal experiences:
Think of something that recently happened in your life and see how you can turn that into a post. Is it something you just figured out? Is it something someone else might have an issue with as well? If so, get a draft going and see where it takes you.

3. Social media:
People are always sharing information on social media, and sometimes an article or an image can inspire you to get your creative juices going!

4. Other blogs:
Although I am believe reading other blog posts is a great way to get inspired, it is the last thing on my list because I like to use this method as a way to connect with others as well.

  1. I struggled with writer's block often when I was blogging before. Things I didn't want to cover or talk about.. too raw.. too much emotion. then I had to go without it for 8 months and I am like yeah writer's block??
