Protect Your Pups This Spring

Tracking PixelWe’ve collaborated with Adams™ to share our experience with the new flea & tick collar for dogs and puppies. Although I received compensation for this post, all thoughts are my own.

Spring has always been one of my favorite seasons. It’s the time of the year when you can slowly begin to peel off the layers and prepare for summer.

It also means bugs.

We love to explore as a family — it allows us to bring home some wonderful memories. One thing you also bring home from long walks through the park and bushy areas are bugs. I don’t mind the occasional spiders, but ticks are never fun.

Making the Move
Since moving to South Florida, we’ve had a couple of scares with ticks on our Siberian husky. We’ve traveled up and down I-95 exploring different states while visiting family and friends and it wasn’t fun finding out we had brought back a couple of ticks in our car.

The experience has taught us that it’s better to be safe than sorry. Previously, we made sure we use monthly flea and tick methods. As we prepare to move to our new home, we’ve had to consider our little ones, including the pups.

House hunting hasn’t been easy with two boys and two pups, but we want to make sure we make the right decision for all. Wooded areas are great for the pups to enjoy, but we need to be sure to protect them and our little ones from unwanted diseases.

As the countdown nears, we’re keeping the pups safe with the new Adams™ Flea & Tick Collar for Dogs & Puppies. Doing so will help prevent issues in the upcoming months as we move into our new place.

One of the awesome things about the Adams™ Flea & Tick Collar for Dogs & Puppies is that it also protects your pet from mosquitoes. It’s perfect as the temperatures begin to rise, triggering pest outbreaks. Now is the time to be proactive about flea and tick control to prevent future health problems.

At first, Jeff was hesitant to use the Adams™ Flea & Tick Collar for Dogs & Puppies because he feared it would cause their demeanor to change since we don’t typically use these collars on our pups. Thankfully this wasn’t the case.

We used the Adams™ Flea & Tick Collar for Dogs & Puppies on our two pups and they didn’t feel uncomfortable nor did their demeanor change. In fact, they embraced the new collars as though they were part of the harness they wear on a daily basis.

The Adams™ Flea & Tick Collar for Dogs & Puppies is non-greasy and doesn’t leave any residue on your hands while placing the collar around your pup’s neck.

After more than a week of wearing the collars, it’s safe to say that our pups have been able to avoid getting bitten by mosquitoes while wondering around the lake in our community and local parks with large bodies of water.

Next time you’re at your local Walmart, head over to the pet aisle and look for the new red circle tin. Each tin contains two adjustable collars, providing a full year of protection versus the alternative of opting for monthly, potentially-messy topical treatments. You can save a trip and the cost of a vet visit by protecting your pet with the new Adams™ Flea & Tick Collar for Dogs & Puppies.
