The Perfect French Toast
Me, cooking in the kitchen? Yup, and so can you!
Stop making excuses as to why you don’t know how to cook but would like to learn. There are several recipes online, and your family’s traditional ones as well. So, get in the kitchen and try something new!
Making the perfect french toast will not happen over night. Actually, I made it by accident.
What you need:
Bisquick Pancake Mix
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Whole wheat bread
What to do:
Break 2 eggs into a bowl, add a few drops of extra virgin olive oil, 2 cups of Bisquick mix, half a cup of milk, 1/2 TBSP of cinnamon powder and stir with the whisk.
Warm up the pan at medium high and add the cooking oil spray on the pan to keep the pancake from sticking. Dip a slice of bread into the mix for 2 mins (a minute on each side). Use fork to move the slice from the bowl to the warm pan but be sure to use the spatula to turn the bread over on the pan. Again, giving it a minute or two for each side. Browning is a good sign. If you feel as though the middle is not cooking thoroughly, use the spatula to press it down.
Add fruit to garnish your treat, and enjoy!
