- Index cards; and
- Glue sticks

How Do You Go Back To School Shopping For Clothes?
Finding the right place to shop for school items can be tricky. Everywhere you look there’s a sale on uniforms and everyday clothes for students to wear.
The best option for you to choose where to shop is to plan what you need for your kids.
Whether you’re looking for everyday items such as socks, you’ll need to think of where you can snag great deals any time of the year.
Make a list of the back-to-school clothes your kids need. Once you’ve put together what you need, you’ll want to focus on what you already have available.
Maybe a new backpack won’t be necessary if last year’s bookbag just needs a wash.
Other things to consider are pants and tops. Comfortable tops are always a hit with kids. If your kids need polo shirts, then you can also opt for more than one.
Buying multiple ones can help you save later on if one gets a tough stain or begins to fade.
Where Can I Buy School Clothes Online?
One of the best places for back-to-school clothes shopping is ordering products online. Not only is it delivered to your door, but you get exactly what you’ve ordered.
Sometimes while shopping at a store, you’re limited to what’s available. This means you might settle for whatever you can get your hands on at that moment.
With online shopping, you have the option to plan ahead and save money through price comparison.
There are various choices for you to decide where to go back to school shopping for clothes.
For starters, Amazon has a wide variety of shoes and sneakers for this academic year. Just make sure you know your kids’ sizes before you buying shoes for kids.
Dark sneakers are a good idea for kids to wear for school. Not only do they look like dress shoes, but they are also comfortable for gym class.
There are various options when choosing shoes for kids on Amazon.
Kids are constantly outgrowing their clothes, and it’s no surprise to see many of the same items being added to your shopping list every year.
When shopping for kids in general, it’s no secret that quality is more important than quantity. You should always think about the material of the clothes you buy along with the price. Here’s a list of items you can score right now from Target to help you plan ahead on back to school shopping for clothes:
Choose comfort instead of looks when purchasing kid’s shoes.
Some of the most stylish shoes aren’t always the most comfortable. Those cool character sneakers are the WORST you can buy a child. Not only are they made with poor materials, but they don’t last much.
Neutral colored socks are always a hit.
Colorful socks may look cool, but they don’t match every outfit. Sticking to neutral colors helps your child understand what it means to properly dress for any given occasion.
Look for easy-to-iron school pants.
When you find a good pair of khakis for the kids, then you snag more in different colors. I always get two for the kids this way they have an extra pair in case they stain the other ones. It happens every year, so I plan ahead.
BONUS TIP: See if you can find pants that have an adjustable waist. This way you won’t need to buy belts for the kids.
Grab white undershirts for the kids.
Doubling up on shirts is always a good idea, more so when it comes to regulating your child’s body temperature. We’ve done this since our firstborn. Now we do the same for our daughter using girls’ undershirts.
White tank tops are great to wear under the school polo shirts and their button down dress shirts.
Stock up on school polo shirts.
Good quality polo shirts go up in price when the school year starts. The best thing to do is to keep an eye on sales on multiple packs. You can always shop for new white polo shirts and grab other back-to-school clothes the kids will need.
What Is A Good Outfit For The First Day Of School?
A cute outfit for the first day of school would be anything that’s comfortable and stylish. A look that will give others the right impression. Something that is clean, easy-to-throw-on, and works for both class and recess.
The kids love running around throughout the front yard and sometimes they head to the back just to get a breather. Comfort is important for them and it makes playing outdoors easier for them to enjoy the time outside.
Preparing for a new school year sounds like a bad nightmare for parents who just got over the carline madness. Here are a handful of back-to-school essentials you can count on to help you get through the new year.
Aside from answering what back-to-school-supplies do I need, you’ll have to ask yourself what do you already have that works. Focusing on what are the essentials for school can help you do just that.
5 Back-To-School Hacks For Moms
Parents often go shopping for school supplies during the tax-free weekend. Although it might sound like a great idea, I’ll be the first to tell you it’s not. There are a lot of people shopping for the same things, most of the time you’re not getting a deal and lastly, it’s more stressful when you can’t find the things you need because others have already stocked upon them for their own family.
Shopping for the back-to-school season can be a lot more fun when you plan ahead. Here’s how you can do so without overspending:
1) Focus on what you already have and its condition. Schools give you a list of items kids will need for the new academic year. On that list are everyday things they’ll need the first week of school.
2) Pick up an item or two while food shopping. One of the items on your back-to-school shopping list from school might be wipes. You can pick those up in bulk for your kids’ classes.
3) Get school uniforms early on. Kids outgrow a lot of things throughout the years, and school uniforms always make the list. The earlier you shop for them, the better. We’ve been known to buy a uniform shirt or two before the school year ends.
Buying these items a size or two bigger makes it easier to deal with the growth spurts.
4) Buy online ahead of time. You can’t always predict when your online purchases will arrive, so you may want to order your back-to-school items at least three weeks in advance.
5) Make one last memorable trip. Whether you’re on a budget or not, it’s important to make sure your kids enjoy their summer break. It doesn’t need to be an expensive trip.
In fact, the more simple, the more memories you get to create.
From family events to outings with friends, we’re making a splash everywhere we go with weekly water play. You can check out our summer fun schedule here for ideas to try with your family.
How To Avoid The Stress This School Year
Getting the kids ready for a new academic year can be a good time to start organizing yourself as well. Not only does this help inspire the kids to do the same, but it gives you more flexibility as a parent of multiples.
Thinking of ways to improve your day-to-day with kids at home is how you’ll be able to get back time throughout the week. Regardless of how busy your schedule might feel, these mom-approved hacks are sure to help:
- Bathe before everyone else does. It might sound silly, but taking that shower in the morning will make a difference in how you feel throughout the day.
- Put a load in the wash first. Most moms make themselves a cup of coffee before starting their day. Although I don’t drink coffee, I do prep my husband’s cup in the morning.
While the coffee maker runs, I add a load of laundry in the washer.
- Keep fruits handy. One of the best fast-food breakfast ideas I like to grab in the morning is fruit. I also add them to the boys’ morning cereal during the school season.
- Prepare uniforms/outfit ideas for the week over the weekend. Personally, I enjoy ironing out the clothes for the week all in one shot, it makes mornings less stressful.
I keep their clothes in the closet laid out for the week. I do the same for my husband’s work attire.
- Tidy up daily. Most weekends are spent cleaning around here. By tidying up throughout the week, I lighten the load for the weekend.
BONUS: Keep a laundry basket by the stairs to grab the misplace items. It makes for easier cleanup.
