FAQs Friday: How do you find the time to write?
I recently became a contributing writer for Yahoo, Lucky Magazine and continue to keep up with my mom blog. All this while working on my goal — starting my own publication, The Pines. Although The Pines is up and running, there are several things I’m ironing out, so please stay tuned!
I’ve always enjoyed writing, and because I do, I make time for it. Most of my posts start as an idea typed out in the Notes app on my phone which are then emailed to myself. Once the little guy knocks out, I’m off to my laptop to edit and publish/schedule posts. I also have an editorial calendar laid out on Google Drive with topics I’ve covered throughout the week. It’s always fun looking back at the content I’ve written.
Have a question you’d like to see me answer in an upcoming FAQs Friday post? Feel free to email me at motherhoodthroughmyeyes@gmail.com.

Last week I started having themed days of the week and I love it. The week before, I think of what I want to write about for each day. I either write my week's blog posts the weekend before or a post a day the week before. If I think of an idea for a blog post, I write it down in my notes app on my phone. I'm always trying to think of new material.

Themed days of the week makes it so much easier to plan ahead.

Before I was more random and didn't write as often as I should have.

I was the same way. I would force myself to write. It was bad.
