Homemade Tomato Sauce
Me, cooking in the kitchen? Yup, and so can you!
Stop making excuses as to why you don’t know how to cook but would like to learn. There are several recipes online, and your family’s traditional ones as well. So, get in the kitchen and try something new!
I used to buy Prego pasta sauce to make spaghetti and meatballs but Jeff enjoys homemade pasta sauce. So, what did Tima do? I learned how to make it. Thank goodness for Google!
What you need:
A few drops Organic extra olive oil (Costco)
1 can of Organic tomato paste (Costco)
2 dashes of Organic no-salt seasoning (Costco)
3 cloves of garlic (Supermarket)
4 Italian plump tomatoes (Costco)
2 spoons of white sugar
What to do:
Chop the tomatoes into tiny cubes and add in the ingredients. Stir and add to your sauce pan on medium high heat. Make sure you grease the pan with a little olive oil. Stir again and cover with the lid. Keep an eye on it. Give it about 15 mins. Make sure it does not dry up. If it does add a little water. You may add ground beef to the sauce. I usually buy the organic one from Costco.
Happy sauce making!
