Parenting is tough. There’s no better way to put it. Thankfully, there are a number of resources for soon-to-be and new parents to latch on to.
For years, I’ve watched TV shows and conversed with other parents to get a glimpse of what parenting would be like in real life. The truth is, nothing prepared me better for the new role of a mom than connecting with other parents.
Getting their side of the story was a blessing. Although some people won’t show you the truth about their day to day (hence what you see portrayed on social media), there are others who will tell you exactly what it’s like to raise little ones.
5 Parenting Quotes For Everyday Life
Throughout the years, there have been a number of questions that run through my mind whenever I think about how hard parenting can be.
For starters, I always wonder if celebrities face the same issues. You always hear how most of them have nannies who take over. It turns out, the parenting struggles are there for them as well, and not all celebrities have nannies waiting to catch their babies. Below are five parenting quotes that made me smile. I hope they do the same for you.
“Kids need a happy household. They need to be loved and supported in their dreams. And I don’t think you can make your kids’ dreams your own. They need you to support them in their dreams.” – Billy Crystal
“I came to parenting the way most of us do – knowing nothing and trying to learn everything.” – Mayim Bialik
“Becoming a father, I think it inevitably changes your perspective of life. I don’t get nearly enough sleep. And the simplest things in life are completely satisfying. I find you don’t have to do as much, like you don’t go on as many outings.” – Hugh Jackman
“Every cliche about kids is true; they grow up so quickly, you blink and they’re gone, and you have to spend the time with them now. But that’s a joy.” – Liam Neeson
“The most rewarding aspect of parenting is seeing my children be authentic. The most rewarding thing for me is to see them do anything that they’re proud of.” – Jaime Lee Curtis
