Joshua Williams is no ordinary teenager. Here’s why…
Hunger’s youngest victims are often invisible in the United States, but the reality is, hunger in America has no boundaries and can affect all children – from rural, urban and suburban. To help shed light on this issue and be a part of the solution, Unilever Project Sunlight has partnered with thirteen-year-old Joshua Williams of Joshua’s Heart Foundation to host a “Share a Meal” neighborhood potluck dinner.
Williams has been combatting hunger since the age of five by collecting donations to feed the homeless and delivering meals to underprivileged children and their families through his mobile food pantry program.
Join Williams and Joshua’s Heart Foundation this Saturday, December 20th, as they host a “Share A Meal” neighborhood potluck dinner for over 50 Miami families. The event will take place from 2 p.m.to 6 p.m. at the Arcola Lakes Senior Center, located on 8401 NW 14th Avenue in Miami, Florida.
All attendees will be provided with a gift bag full of donated food supplies so that they can prepare healthy and complete meals at home.
