Life has a funny way of showing you the people and things that matter most. We often forget the value of these people and things because we are so caught up on someone or something that has hurt us.
At the age of 19 I was thrown back into the dating scene after a bad break-up, and it was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. It opened my eyes to a lot of things and the different type of people in this world.
Finding out who I was and what I needed in my life was critical. Having reality smack me in the face that soon in life was a blessing that I will forever cherish.
I met so many people, dated a bit, and I fell in love. I had fallen madly in love with the person I had become and it was beautiful. I cried tears of happiness with every opportunity that came my way. I graduated college before I turned 21 because I was determined to make up for the time I had missed. Two wonderful summers in college (I miss those summer courses, they were quick and held small groups, I always wished the regular school year was like that).
If I could go back in time and do it all over again, I would. Every step of the way has been beautiful because it had led me to the life I live today.
