What are the chances a monkey, Spider-Man and a fire-fighter will meet? At Walt Disney World, anything can happen!

Yesterday was Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Walt Disney World here in Orlando. Our kids were excited to wear their costumes and see some of their favorite characters come to life.

Did I mention there was a dessert party as well? Not only did we walk throughout Magic Kingdom to trick-or-treat, but we also enjoyed some tasty desserts at Tomorrowland Terrace. As an added bonus, this year Disney has included a fireworks display, featuring Jack Skellington.

Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party is great for those looking to skip the candy and grab your traditional sweets such as fruits and a scoop of ice cream.

A Little Hocus Pocus

Classic Halloween film characters can be seen throughout the theme park, including A Nightmare Before Christmas and Hocus Pocus.

There’s also an event-exclusive dedicated to the 90’s favorite called Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular hosted by the Sanderson Sisters.

Upon entering the Below are highlights from the 2019 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party:

  • Trick-or-Treat Locations;
  • Halloween Twists;
  • Character Appearances;
  • Event Merchandise;
  • Food & Beverage;
  • Allergy-Friendly Centers (marked with teal throughout); and
  • Magic Shot Locations.

If you’re looking to book your visit to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary event, be sure to visit before the end of October.

  1. Thank you for the heads up on what to look forward to at Disney this Halloween. It would be nice if we could go as a family, but probably that won’t materialize this year. Hoping next year would be a better year for us to travel. I will share this with my cousin. I think him and his family will be going to Disney in time for my niece’s birthday in October.

  2. I’ve never had the chance to visit Disney before, but it looks like such a great place to visit both with friends or with your family. I’d love to get to go one day and see it all for myself… especially know that there are such cool events, like this one!
