Mommy time is a daily necessity, and you don’t always need to step out for it. For me, I use my son’s nap time as a chance to refresh myself and our home. This week I received my first Influenster VoxBox and it came in handy.

I love trying new products and sharing my thoughts with friends and family, so this was a great opportunity for me. Below are my thoughts on each of the six items I received:
Inside my voxbox

Vaseline #SprayandGo Moisturizer Cocoa RadiantI have very sensitive skin and this product didn’t cause any rash or irritation.  (Yay!) Sweet, cocoa butter smell that stays with you throughout the day. It’s non-greasy, soft when applied, leaving your skin feeling smooth and refreshed.

NYC New York Color #CityProofLipColor: Although I don’t wear lip color, there’s something striking about red that makes women either love it or hate it. I’m in between. The color is like a vintage red. It smells like cherry but has no taste. I wouldn’t buy this product on the shelves because it never dries and fades with time.

#PureIce Nail Polish: I received AFTERHOURS and IT’S COMPLICATED. Both nail polishes took at least 2-3 minutes to completely dry. This was a plus because I tend to do nails while the baby naps. I actually did my manicure before my pedicure — by mistake — and it was actually a blessing because my hands dried up so fast and I was able to quickly care for my son when he woke up from his nap. The smell isn’t as strong as most nail polishes. Two coats is better than one.

NEW Cetaphil #GentlePower Skin Cleansing Cloths: I haven’t used a skin cleansing cloth since my acne-teenage years. When I tried these I was expecting them to be a little more gentle on my skin. I have very sensitive skin, and the package says it’s gentle. It felt like my exfoliating cloth (soft to the touch, rough when in use). My face did feel soft and refreshed, but still in a little pain after.

Montagne Jeunesse Clay Spas (#MJClaySpas / #FaceBeauty): It’s smells and feels more like honey; sticky and amber. It’s warm when you apply it on your skin, but cools over with time. It looks oily when you first apply it on your skin. Hardens with time. Left it on for 15 minutes and it was easy to peel. Skin felt soft and refreshed.

#ShellFuelRewards Network Card: Still have yet to try this (my gas tank is practically full. Will update once I do.
