Word Of The Week: Happiness

For the next couple of weeks, I’ll be sharing one word, every Monday, that highlights a certain part of my life. I’ll include a paragraph or two about the word and how it has impacted me.
This week I’m focusing on the word happiness. This word ties into last week’s topic on forgiveness. It’s easier to find happiness when you’re not holding any grudges. You’ll notice you smile more and you appreciate life and the people in it as well.
Happiness, to me, is being at peace with yourself and everyone around you. I’ve found it in different points in my life. Before my first child, my happiness was driven by my career and friends. Now, my happiness stems from my family and the amazing friends who have turned into such.
I hope your Monday is as beautiful as your smile.
